Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Drivers to join our transportation team. Days/Nights/Weekend shifts when necessary starting immediately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport liquid bulk (tank) across various locations in Ontario and the US This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to transportation regulations, ensuring timely delivery and excellent service.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport liquid bulk to designated destinations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
- Load and unload liquid bulk as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, driver electronic logs, and transportation documentation.
- Perform basic troubleshooting when necessary to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during transit, including adherence to hours-of-service rules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Assist with customer equipment operation when required.
Qualifications
FAST or TWIC approved
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience with multi axle trailers is preferred.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety checks.
- Ability to operate within federal and state transportation regulations.
- Prior experience in tank transportation or related fields is desirable but not mandatory.
- Physical ability to climb ladders, and stairs, perform vehicle inspections, and work in various weather conditions. This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of our logistics operations while ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods across multiple locations.
