We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Ensure all food handling practices meet health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation during service hours
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of shortages or expired items
- Follow sanitation procedures for equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a safe kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food handling procedures
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff members
- Experience with meal preparation and serving in a restaurant setting is advantageous
