Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Delivery Helper to assist with the transportation and delivery of goods. This role involves supporting the delivery team in loading, unloading, and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of products to customers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, physical strength for heavy lifting, and experience in warehouse or commercial driving environments. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in logistics and customer service within a dynamic team setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Support the driver in navigating routes and ensuring timely deliveries to various locations
- Help carry, move, and organize products at customer sites or warehouse facilities
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues
- Maintain safety standards during all handling and transportation activities
- Perform general warehouse tasks including moving inventory, stacking, and organizing supplies as needed
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service
Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly throughout the shift
- Previous experience with moving, warehouse work, or commercial driving is preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory;
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for supporting delivery operations
- Prior warehouse experience or knowledge of logistics processes is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
