Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Repair Service technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and repairing manufacturing facilities and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, along with leadership qualities to supervise maintenance activities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Operate and program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to maintain automation systems
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history
- Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed for machinery or structural components
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents for accurate repairs
- Supervise maintenance team members, providing guidance and ensuring safety compliance
- Lead facilities maintenance projects, coordinating with other departments to minimize downtime
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally
Skills
- Supervising experience in a maintenance or manufacturing setting
- Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems
- Experience with CMMS software for maintenance management
- Welding skills for fabrication and repair tasks
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting electrical circuits and systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge of machinery used in manufacturing environments
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals effectively
- Facilities maintenance expertise including HVAC, plumbing, or structural repairs is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to oversee maintenance operations efficiently
- Customer service orientation to support internal clients’ needs effectively
