We need a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our Ambulatory Care team! You want to be part of our Ambulatory Care department because you’ll work across a variety of specialty clinics including infusion/transfusion, surgical clinics, and medical specialty services. No two days are the same in this dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be part of a close-knit, highly collaborative team that plays a key role in improving access to care for our community.
In this role you will get to provide hands-on patient care supporting treatments such as blood transfusions, infusions, and clinic-based procedures. You will build strong relationships with patients and families as you guide them through their outpatient care journey. As an RPN in Ambulatory Care, you will collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple specialty areas—and much more!

What You’ll Bring
Required
- Current certification of registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
-
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support
-
Certified in physician assessment, asepsis
-
Successful completion of IV certification
Preferred
- Excellent nursing assessment, communication, critical thinking, organization, documentation and problem-solving skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills when dealing with staff, supervisors, physicians, patients and family members.

Ability to exercise good judgement in recognizing situations that may require immediate attention of appropriate person/people.
- Ability to provide educational opportunities for clients and family, other health care providers and health care students.
