Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Experience with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix, along with knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics, is highly desirable. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records using Epic and Dentrix software systems
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient check-in/check-out processes as a dental receptionist
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile work environment at all times
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in dental assisting, with familiarity in orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Proficiency with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Ability to operate CAD systems for digital imaging and diagnostics
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Certification or training in dental assisting is required; additional experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A professional attitude with excellent organizational skills

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
