Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover/Packer to join our team. This role involves assisting with the safe and efficient movement and packing of goods, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining high safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting tasks. Duties
- Safely load, unload, and pack items for transportation, ensuring all goods are secured properly
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed, following safety protocols
- Assist with moving items within the warehouse or to customer locations using appropriate tools and techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper labeling of packages
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate moving schedules and address any concerns
- Ensure all packing materials are used efficiently and dispose of waste responsibly
- Follow safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during heavy lifting or equipment operation
Skills
- Proven experience in moving, packing, or warehouse operations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience operating forklifts or commercial driving is a plus
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in packing and inventory management
