Boyd Distributors is currently looking for an experienced and reliable Boom Truck Operator – Drywall Crane to join our team.
This position involves delivering drywall and construction materials to residential and commercial construction sites across Alberta. The successful candidate will operate a drywall boom truck to safely place materials on job sites while working alongside our Delivery Assistants to complete deliveries safely and efficiently.
We are looking for someone who is safety focused, dependable, and a strong team player.
Responsibilities
- Deliver drywall and construction materials to residential and commercial construction sites
- Operate a Drywall Boom Truck / Crane Truck to safely place materials on site
- Work with Delivery Assistants to complete deliveries efficiently
- Secure loads and perform daily vehicle inspections
- Follow all safety procedures while operating crane equipment
- Provide professional service when working with contractors and job site personnel
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s License
- Experience operating a Boom Truck or Drywall Crane preferred
- Comfortable working on active construction sites
- Strong attention to safety and teamwork
- Construction material delivery experience is considered an asset
