Community Electric Ltd. (CEL) is a Western-Canada Electrical & Instrumentation Contractor with projects across Industrial, Commercial, and Service sectors.
We’re hiring 2nd year+ Apprentices and Journeyperson Electricians for commercial & industrial projects and service maintenance work in Winnipeg and Manitoba. Best suited for MB residents open to travel.

The Work
- Industrial and commercial electrical installations & maintenance.
- Agricultural, manufacturing and industrial projects
- Cable pulling/terminations, tray installs, MCCs, PLCs, lighting & distribution
- Outdoor work, heights, trenching, and physical labour
- Rigid conduit experience is an asset
Journeyperson Requirements
- Journeyperson or Red Seal Electrician certificate
- Industrial construction experience
- Able to read prints, complete reports, QA/QC & safety documentation
- Mentor apprentices and coordinate with site teams
- Valid driver’s license; travel readiness
- Safety tickets (Fall Protection, AWP, First Aid) preferred
Apprentice Requirements
- Indentured Apprentice (2nd year or higher)
- Industrial or commercial experience preferred
- Strong safety focus and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel; valid driver’s license
