The Role
We're growing our commercial bid pipeline and need an experienced estimator to take ownership of it. You'll come in evenings, work through active
RFPs, build accurate quotes, call suppliers for pricing, and submit tenders — then earn 5% of every commercial job we win from your bids. No
cap.
This starts as a 1-month trial. If it works, we sign a contract. As the pipeline grows, your bonuses grow with it.

- $80,000 job won = $4,000 to you
- $200,000 job won = $10,000 to you
- $500,000 job won = $25,000 to you

What You'll Do
- Monitor and respond to incoming RFPs, bid requests, and ITTs
- Prepare and submit bids via Biddingo, BidCentral, BuildingConnected, or similar platforms
- Call suppliers to get current material pricing
- Calculate quantities, labour hours, and overhead to build complete project quotes
- Send polished quote packages to general contractors and follow up on submissions
- Coordinate with the owner on scope, trade breakdown, and pricing strategy
- Keep a clean log of all active bids, deadlines, and outcomes

What We're Looking For
- Experience with construction estimating or bid coordination — required (we are not looking to train)
- Familiarity with tender platforms (Biddingo, BidCentral, BuildingConnected, or similar)
- Strong written English — professional emails and quote documents
- Comfortable calling suppliers and pushing for competitive pricing
- Detail-oriented with spreadsheets — quantities, unit costs, and totals
- Self-managed and reliable for the 4–8pm shift
- Knowledge of GTA construction trades (tile, EIFS, drywall, painting, electrical) is a strong asset
Nice to Have: Buildxact, Stack, PlanSwift, or similar takeoff software. Background in GTA commercial or ICI construction.
Pay & Schedule Details
- $18.00/hr base — paid bi-weekly or monthly
- 5% bonus on every commercial contract value awarded through your bids — no cap, no ceiling
- 20 hours/week, Mon–Fri evenings (4:00–8:00 PM)
- In-person at the FAIME office in the GTA
- Starts as a paid 1-month trial, then moves to a longer-term contract
