The Opportunity:
Are you a skilled and motivated Security Technician looking to grow your career?
MiLo Group Ltd. is looking for a Security Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, field-based role, travel is required on weekly basis.
Responsibilities and Skills include but are not limited to:
- Install, program and maintain intrusion alarm, CCTV and access control systems
- Installing, programming and testing ULC Fire Alarm monitoring systems
- Installing conductors and cable of various types and sizes; CAT6, Banana Wire, 22/4, 18/2
- Termination and testing of CAT6 cabling
- Roughing in steel framed walls
- Installing cabling in conduit and open ceiling spaces
- Finishing and installing devices of various types
- Training of end-user on operation of systems
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Adhere to safety protocols
- Possess willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Time Management and Leadership qualities
- Computer networking knowledge
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities
Experience, Education & Tickets:
- Training and Experience in various equipment manufacture such as DSC, ICT, Kantech, Hikvision, Hanwha.
- Alarm.com or DSC connect integration (preferred)
- Commerical construction experience (
- Experience in running conduit (preferred)
- WHIMIS (preferred)
- CSTS (preferred)
- Fall Protection (preferred)
- MEWP/Aerial Platform (preferred)
- First Aid (preferred)
- Possess a valid class 5 operators license
