Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Rewinding and Inspection Machine Operator and Press Helper to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our printing and packaging processes by operating rewinding and inspection machinery, assisting with press operations, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your mechanical skills within a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate rewinding machines to carefully wind printed materials, ensuring proper tension and alignment for quality output
- Conduct thorough inspections of printed labels for defects, color consistency, and adherence to specifications
- Assist with press setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting to optimize machine performance
- Use forklifts and warehouse equipment to move raw materials, finished products, and supplies safely around the facility
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and manufacturing procedures diligently during daily operations
- Support packaging processes by preparing finished products for shipment or storage
Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments preferred, especially with machinery operation or inspection roles
- Mechanical knowledge is highly desirable for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic maintenance
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus; certification is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of machining or packaging processes will help in understanding production workflows
- Strong attention to detail for quality inspections and safety compliance
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
