Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Bobarista to join our vibrant team! As a Bobarista, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, smoothies, and specialty drinks using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for order processing
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality
- Support team members with serving food and beverages, ensuring a smooth flow of operations
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Experience in the food industry, including serving or cashiering roles, is advantageous
Availability:
- Flexible availability is required.
- Must be available to work morning, afternoon, and/or evening shifts.
- Position starts August/September.
