Role Summary:
As a Summer Student, you will assist with various production line tasks, including processing and packaging,
Job Type: Full-Time / Temporary (April to August). Up to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Packaging cooked or semi product on various machines into trays and boxes.
- Verification of Best Before Dates and labels and visual quality checks.
- Able to supply packaging lines with boxes, films, and labels.
- Inventory control of label room and staging area.
- Hang and tie product, hang product, net product, dry salting, move buggies.
- Open boxes of frozen meat into tanks, stuff hams manually, pack 4x6 hams.
- Vat washer, tree washer, load/unload product.
- Palletizing, pushing/pulling of skids and racks
- Able to move combos manually with pump truck (up to 500kg)
- Other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
No previous experience required - training will be provided.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to push and pull up to 250 lbs.
Ability to work near or around machinery.
Ability to work in a cold environment.
Frequent exposure to noise.
Use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) a must.
