The Role:
To lead production through advanced manufacturing systems, processing, quality and maintenance ensuring key accountabilities with the Operational Framework SQCDPE (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People and Environment) and associated Key Performance Indicators.

Plan and execute production and departmental strategies, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with food safety (GMP, SQF), occupational health & safety, and environmental standards.

Drive operational excellence through lean manufacturing principles, cost reduction, and quality improvement initiatives.

Develop, coach, and support team members, including performance management, training, and succession planning.

Oversee production KPIs, scheduling, and resource utilization to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Maintain strong employee relations and uphold company policies and compliance requirements.

Monitor production performance, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Partner with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Maintenance, and Distribution, to ensure smooth operations.

Ensure readiness for audits and inspections, including regulatory and customer requirements.

Support payroll documentation and reporting requirements.

Participate in safety programs, accident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide hands-on operational and quality support (including QA checks and documentation) as required.
What you bring to the role:

Minimum 5-7 years of operations experience in leadership roles in consumer packaged goods and/or food manufacturing required.

Technical knowledge of processing and packaging is an asset.

Demonstrated track record of building and leading high functioning teams.

The hiring range for this position is $91,279.00 - 93,000.
