Job Summary
Usva is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our saunas, relaxation rooms, and indoor spa areas. This role is essential in preserving the calm, intentional atmosphere that defines the Usva experience, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are consistently met for our guests' physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. Prior experience in hospitality, spa, or custodial services is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic.
Schedule: Approximately 2 hours per day. Available shifts are either 7 days/week or 5 days/week — please indicate your preference when applying.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize saunas, relaxation rooms, and other indoor spa areas according to established standards
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a spotless, calming environment
- Restock and organize amenities and supplies as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning activities
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly
- Follow safety procedures and adhere to health regulations at all times, including those specific to sauna and wet-area sanitation
- Assist with additional duties such as laundry or organizing storage areas when required
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality/spa environments is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within designated timeframes
- Good communication skills and a positive, calm demeanor that reflects Usva's wellness-focused environment
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is a plus
- Ability to lift light to moderate loads and stand for extended periods during shifts
