Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in Keswick, Ontario. This role is vital in delivering exceptional dental care that aligns with our mission to improve patient health and wellness. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in dental hygiene practices and a commitment to patient comfort.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, examinations, and X-rays with precision and care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Assist dentists during procedures and manage dental equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software.
- Ensure the clinic adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to create a welcoming environment.
- Support pediatrics patients with gentle, age-appropriate care.
- Collaborate with team members to improve clinic operations.
- Qualifications
- Certified Dental Hygienist license in Ontario
- Experience with orthodontics and pediatric dentistry is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting.
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
- Abolity to work unsupervised and as part of a team - This is a self employed Sub Contractor type position where you work as part of a team but as an independat provider .
