River Valley Farms is looking for an experienced person to grow our team!
We are a leader in agricultural production in Lennox & Addington. If you have a strong work ethic, are self motivated, able to problem solve, are conscientious and have an aptitude for machinery, we would like you to join our team.
Duties will include: The focus of this position is preventative maintenance and repair of equipment.You will perform various maintenance work: plumbing, lighting, general maintenance and mechanical repairs to farm production equipment.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years experience in a related field such as farm equipment repairs, industrial packaging or food processing. Reliable, organized and have attention to detail. Able to work under pressure, individually and in a team setting, able to safely lift parts and smaller accessories related to equipment repair. A basic understanding of electrical is preferred. Welding knowledge or agricultural mechanical experience would be an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
