Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival, establishing a welcoming environment.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues or maintenance needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs or services, leveraging mechanical knowledge when necessary.
- Prepare repair orders, estimate costs, and communicate timelines clearly to customers.
- Upsell additional services or maintenance that benefit the customer's vehicle while aligning with their needs.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize work and ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Maintain organized records of service visits, repairs, and customer interactions for future reference.
Experience
- Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory; relevant automotive or mechanic experience is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle repairs and maintenance procedures.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Sales experience, including upselling services or products in a professional manner.
