Job Description
Ivan’s Auto Body is looking for a Red Seal Automotive Mechanic to join our agile team and help with Automotive Repairs and Maintenance. Are you looking to contribute your skills and experience in a positive team environment to help build and improve the existing process?
You must be able to perform vehicle repairs efficiently and effectively. Your primary duties will be to repair engine, suspension, electrical, and other systems damaged in a collision. We are looking for someone who can also keep on top of calibrations and control systems operations required after collision repairs are completed in addition to final inspection of vehicle systems and clearing any issues prior to delivery. Additionally, you will aid the body repair team with removal and install of components such as bumpers, and doors.
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicle systems and help create repair plan
- Replace damaged suspension and engine components
- Diagnose/Repair wiring and replace electrical components
- Keep on top of OEM procedures and necessary calibrations
- Final check of vehicle systems prior to delivery
- Diagnose and clear engine codes or other existing issue post body repair
- Aid body repair team with removal and install of components
- Change oil, filters, brake pads, rotors, and etc.
- Keep work area organized and clutter free.
- Keep up to date with ( Paid ) I-CAR training.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Live in or around Vancouver
- Fluency in English
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- Mechanic: 3 years (required)
- Alldata, Mitchell, or RepairLogic: 1 year (preferred)
