Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, construction and mechanical work. This role involves installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings. Candidates should be comfortable working with hand tools, power tools and other equipment. A background in carpentry, HVAC or construction is a plus. Responsibilities
- Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems according to specifications
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues before they become major problems
- Collaborate with team members
- Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related systems for new installations or upgrades
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in plumbing installation, repair or maintenance in commercial or residential settings
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and other equipment
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and working in various positions for extended periods of time
- Valid driver’s license
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
