IT Systems Generalist
We're looking for an experienced IT professional. We're open to hiring at either an intermediate or senior level, with compensation and responsibilities reflecting your experience and technical expertise.
Salary: $60,000-$90,000 per year (based on experience)
Location: Okotoks, AB (In-Office)
For over 25 years, ITS Livestock has provided software, hardware, and IT solutions to livestock operations across North America. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving a wide variety of technical challenges and is comfortable working across systems, networking, infrastructure, and client support.
This is an in-office position where you'll provide remote technical support to clients from our Okotoks office using phone, email, and remote access tools, with occasional travel to customer sites (approximately 5%).
What You'll Do
- Provide remote technical support to clients
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows systems, Microsoft environments, and network infrastructure
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues across a variety of client environments
- Configure and install industry-specific hardware (training provided)
- Document solutions and assist with user training
- Occasionally travel to client sites using a company vehicle
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting business IT environments (MSP or small business experience is an asset)
- Diploma in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience supporting Windows systems, Microsoft 365, networking infrastructure, and end users
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Valid Alberta Driver's License with a clean driving record
Assets
- Experience with Ubiquiti wireless networking
- Microsoft SQL Server
- PowerShell or other scripting experience
