Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for all students.
- Engage with families to promote involvement in their child’s education and development.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the varying needs of students, including those with disabilities.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional growth.
Skills
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience working with children in a classroom or caregiving setting.
- Ability to educate and engage students through creative lesson planning.
- Knowledge of strategies for supporting children with disabilities in an educational context.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
