Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated <PERSON> to join our construction team. This role involves working on various building projects, requiring a strong foundation in carpentry, concrete work, and general construction skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with blueprint reading, heavy equipment operation, and the use of hand and power tools. Duties
- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction tasks accurately
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and restoration work as needed on various projects
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently during construction activities
- Use hand tools and power tools for framing, siding, woodworking, and other carpentry tasks
- Execute concrete finishing tasks with precisi
- Assist with metalwork tasks when required
- Conduct heavy lifting and material handling to support project progress
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate project execution
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration techniques
- Knowledge of siding installation, woodworking, and carpentry fundamentals
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely in a construction setting
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction machinery
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, power tool use, and equipment operation
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
This position is integral to our construction projects, requiring a versatile skill set combined with a commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship.
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
