Finishing Line Operator
Location: Vaughan, ON
Pay Rate: $22 - $26/hour (Depending on the experience)
Shift: Morning
Responsibilities:
- Keep production moving to meet daily schedules and targets
- Check the quality of the product at your stage before it moves forward (color, coating weight, gloss, thickness, and other key measurements)
- Perform routine quality checks and take quick corrective action when something's off
- Report any equipment issues to your supervisor and follow up to get them resolved
- Work with other departments and help train teammates to keep production running smoothly.
- Read and follow labels, drawings, and work instructions
- Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE (face shield, respirator, ear plugs, dust mask)
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read specifications/drawings
- Ability to lift/carry up to 25 kg and push/pull up to 50 kg (with help as needed)
- Comfortable wearing PPE for extended periods (fumes, noise, and dust may be present)
- Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and continuous improvement (Lean) concepts
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
