Puptown offers Dog Daycare, boarding and has a Pet Supply store. We can cross train or train to specific areas.
- Employees get 20% off all regular priced Pet Supply Food and products.
- Supervise dog behaviour and interactions
- Animal husbandry - feeding, basic grooming as needed, administer meds etc
- Record keeping of each animal
- Facility cleaning
- Customer service
- Assist with retail store (not all roles will require this)
Other duties as required
Education opportunities - animal behaviour, nutrition, care, product knowledge etc.
Must have experience working with dogs in a commercial environment.
Commercial dog daycare/kennel/pet supply experience a definite asset.
Good communication skills. Able to lift 45lbs -dogs into tub, product etc.
Pet and/or Human First aid an asset.
This is a fast paced environment. Must be able to work independently and with others.
One of the shifts is an overnight shift 11pm-8am. We would consider a regular night shift person. Sleep onsite. Accommodations provided.
Wage depends on experience.
