Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Lead and supervise team members, providing training, coaching, and development to foster a motivated and efficient workforce.
- Manage merchandising efforts, including pricing strategies and product placement to maximize sales.
- Handle customer service issues promptly and professionally, ensuring positive shopping experiences.
- Oversee POS transactions, cash handling, and bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records.
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and hiring qualified staff.
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote store products and services effectively.
- Assist with budgeting, sales management, and sales forecasting to meet business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Maintain organizational efficiency through effective time management and communication skills.
Experience
- Proven retail management experience with a strong background in store operations, sales management, or supervisory roles.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and administrative tasks.
- Experience in merchandising, team development and customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with recruiting processes including interviewing and training new staff.
- Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high standards of organization and time management.
- Previous experience in retail sales or store management positions is highly desirable.
