Load and unloads trucks and trailers.
Prepare proper paperwork for packages being sent via U.P.S. and Purolator using
appropriate software package. Ensure timely delivery of packages.
May assemble boxes, stuff and install spacers and package table tops
Inspects product for quality defects and reports problems to Supervisor.
Applies soft wrap sheets and tape to product. Ensures product is completely
covered and protects sharp points.
Moves product to and from inventory locations.
May use spray wax to clean and improve finished appearance of product.
Maintains clean, safe work area.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in shipping/receiving a plus.
Capable of lifting and/or carrying up to 50 lbs. repeatedly without difficulty.
Working knowledge of computers and basic keyboarding skills.
Tow motor certificate beneficial.
Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
Knowledge of Hauser finished goods helpful.
Mandatory Requirement:
Proven ability to read and write English
Minimal Grade 12 Math or equivalent
Employment Conditions: Days: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Some overtime work may be required.
