Job description
We are looking to fill this position immediately and pay will be determined based off past experience.
Candidates must be able to provide proof of drivers license, drivers abstract.
Job Requirements: * Operate and drive 5 Ton trucks to transport goods and materials and furniture house to house. * Loading and unloading of goods. Load and Unload freight at various locations in AB . * Strapping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. * Pre-Trip, en route and post trip inspections of all company equipment * Plan travel schedules and routes. * professional customer service * Receive and relay information to central dispatcher. * Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. * Pay and receive payments for goods. * Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
Applicants must be able to lift 100 lbs and work at a good pace. This is a physically demanding, this job may not be suitable for everyone. Very tip friendly environment and consistent work year round.
