Sales Executive – Uncle Wiener’s Wholesale

Uncle Wiener’s Wholesale is looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Executive to join our Edmonton team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, finding new sales opportunities, and helping customers choose the right products for their needs. We carry a wide range of products, including tools, equipment, farm supplies, industrial products, home improvement items, seasonal merchandise, and more.
The successful candidate will be confident speaking with customers, following up on leads, and actively generating new business.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in-store, by phone, and through email
- Build strong relationships with contractors, farmers, businesses, and individual customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products
- Follow up on customer inquiries, quotes, and potential sales
- Generate new business through outbound calls and relationship building
- Prepare quotes and help customers with larger or commercial orders
- Maintain knowledge of current products, promotions, and inventory
- Work with store management to achieve sales targets
- Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the sale
- Maintain accurate records of sales leads, quotes, and customer follow-ups
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience is required
- Experience in retail, industrial, agricultural, construction, tools, equipment, or building supplies is considered a strong asset
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable making outbound sales calls and following up with leads
- Confident, professional, and motivated by results
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Basic computer and email skills
- Ability to learn a large and constantly changing product selection
- Valid driver’s licence is considered an asset
