Role Overview
Intelbyte is looking for a Sales Executive to drive the top of our sales funnel and help our senior sellers close more, faster. This is a high-energy, high-ownership role built for someone early in their career who wants broad exposure to how B2B technology services are sold and who is ready to run with real responsibility.
What matters is that you are sharp, adaptable, comfortable in digital tools, and hungry to win. If you bring the drive and the aptitude, we'll help you build the domain knowledge.
You'll own our digital presence and lead-generation engine, represent Intelbyte at industry events, source and prepare bids, mine new and existing accounts for new opportunities, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with experienced sales colleagues to move deals over the line.
What You'll Do
Digital Presence, Marketing & Lead Generation
- Own and grow Intelbyte's digital footprint across our key channels, keeping our presence active, professional, and on-brand
- Plan and execute B2B marketing activities that fill the funnel - LinkedIn outreach, targeted email sequences, landing-page optimization, and sales collateral
- Run and track multi-channel campaigns using UTMs, dashboards, and CRM analytics, then report on what's working and what to do next
- Build and maintain sales enablement assets, including case studies, one-pagers, win stories, and capability decks
Prospecting & Account Mining
- Generate and qualify a healthy pipeline of new business through consistent outbound outreach and engagement
- Mine existing accounts to surface upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities
- Conduct initial discovery conversations to uncover client needs and readiness
- Schedule and secure qualified meetings for senior sales team members
- Track and manage all activity in CRM to ensure clean follow-up and reliable forecasting
Events & Market Presence
- Represent Intelbyte at conferences, networking events, industry meetups, and business associations
- Generate new contacts, build relationships, and bring market intelligence back to the team
Bid & Proposal Support
- Source and qualify bid opportunities (RFPs / RFIs / RFQs) that fit Intelbyte's services and have strong win potential
- Own the bid tracker - deadlines, requirements, stakeholder contacts, and submission milestones - so nothing slips
- Coordinate internal contributors to assemble compliant, compelling responses
- Proofread, format, and polish submissions to a professional standard
- Build a reusable content library that makes future bids faster and stronger
Deal Support
- Support senior sales colleagues through the closing process with briefs, meeting notes, follow-up materials, and clear action items
- Keep proposals, documentation, and follow-ups organized to accelerate deal velocity
What We are Looking For
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, energized by the challenge of winning new business
- Strong communicator, written and verbal, with the confidence to start conversations and build rapport quickly
- Comfortable with cold outreach and the persistence it takes to land the first meeting
- Highly organized and dependable, able to juggle multiple deals, deadlines, and campaigns at once
- Quick to learn new tools - CRM platforms, bid portals, Microsoft 365, marketing and sales automation
- Curious and resourceful, with strong research instincts
- Professional, trustworthy, and discreet with client and commercial information
- Comfortable working across digital channels and marketing tools
Nice to Have
- Interest in technology sales and the Microsoft ecosystem (Power Platform, M365, Dynamics, Azure)
- Experience with B2B LinkedIn marketing, cold outreach sequences, or email automation tools
- Exposure to bid platforms such as MERX, SAP Ariba, Bonfire, Vendor Registry, or BidNet
- Comfort with Excel/Sheets for pipeline tracking and campaign reporting
- Experience building presentations or one-pagers in PowerPoint or Canva
- Previous internship or work experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role

- Qualified meetings scheduled for senior sales team members
- Pipeline contribution: volume and quality of new opportunities created
- Number and quality of bid opportunities sourced, by win probability and fit
- On-time, high-quality bid submissions
- Growth of digital presence and lead-gen campaign results
- Sales team enablement: faster deal velocity and a better-organized pipeline
Compensation & Details
- Base + Commission: Paid on deals you bring in, in the range of 5–10% of initial deal size at the point of origination.
- Performance-based commission earning with no cap on what you bring in
- Location: Calgary, AB - Hybrid
- Travel: Event attendance and occasional regional travel as needed
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (4 days on site, 1 day remote)
