What You'll Do
Deliver Outstanding Customer Experiences
- Welcome customers with a friendly greeting and make them feel at home.
- Ask questions to understand customer needs and recommend the best products and solutions.
- Help customers locate products, compare options, and complete their projects successfully.
- Process special orders and follow up with customers when products arrive.
- Assist customers with carrying larger or heavier purchases when needed.
- Ensure every customer leaves with a positive shopping experience.
Be a Product Expert
- Learn about our products, inventory, and promotions so you can confidently assist customers.
- Stay current on industry trends and new products.
- Identify opportunities to introduce customers to products and services throughout the store.
Help Create a Great Store Environment
- Keep shelves stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Build and refresh displays, signage, and promotional areas.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment.
- Participate in inventory counts, cycle counts, pricing updates, and merchandising activities.
Support the Team
- Assist with receiving shipments and organizing stockrooms.
- Help unload trucks and verify incoming merchandise.
- Provide backup cashier support when needed.
- Assist with training new team members and sharing best practices.
- Pitch in on special projects and support other departments as required.
Safety & Loss Prevention
- Follow store policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and cash handling.
- Take appropriate safety precautions when operating equipment or performing store services.
- Help maintain a secure environment for customers, team members, and merchandise.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of customer service experience.
- 1 year of sales experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
