Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Leasing Agent to join our growing property management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process, engaging with prospective tenants, and maintaining positive relationships with current residents. Duties
- Greet prospective tenants and provide detailed information about available properties
- Conduct property tours and answer questions regarding features, amenities, and leasing terms
- Manage rental applications, verify applicant information, and process approvals using Doorloop or similar property management software
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete
- Maintain up-to-date records of leasing activities, tenant interactions, and property availability through data entry and filing systems
- Follow up with prospective tenants via phone and email to nurture relationships and close lease agreements
- Coordinate move-in/move-out inspections and facilitate smooth tenant transitions
- Handle inquiries via phone professionally, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Collaborate with maintenance teams using our systems to address property needs efficiently
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, report generation, and managing customer relationship management (CRM) databases
Requirements
- Proven experience in office administration, customer service, or sales within property management or related fields
- Familiarity with property management software systems is highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills with experience in data entry, filing, and administrative procedures
- Excellent communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and negotiation abilities
- Knowledge of property management practices, including lease agreements and tenant relations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with and a strong understanding of Social Media Platforms is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with clients and team members
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in Real Estate, Property Management or Marketing are advantageous.
Pay: $37,500.00-$60,000.00 per year
