Job Summary
Our client in Kitchener is seeking a skilled and dedicated 310S Technician to join their automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repair, and the ability to perform maintenance and repairs efficiently. This role involves working with various tools and schematics to ensure vehicles are repaired to the highest standards, providing excellent customer service and maintaining safety protocols at all times.
Shift Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Duties
- Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on vehicles, focusing on 310S engine systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately.
- Conduct assembly of vehicle components and replacement parts following manufacturer specifications.
- Perform heavy lifting when handling engine parts or other heavy components safely.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair status clearly to customers.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to safety standards.
- Assist in routine maintenance tasks to prevent future issues and improve vehicle longevity.
Experience
- 5 years experience in a similar role
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive systems.
- Familiarity with welding, schematics reading, and assembly processes is advantageous.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and performing maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
