Key Responsibilities
As the Customer Service Representative (Counter Sales), you will play a vital role in supporting customer interactions and daily branch operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Customer Service & Issue Resolution:
- Greet and assist walk-in customers while responding to telephone and email inquiries.
- Resolve routine and occasionally complex issues, acting as a liaison with other departments when necessary.
- Sales Support & Transaction Processing:
- Provide backup support to the sales counter, addressing product questions and order inquiries.
- Process customer payments accurately and efficiently for cash accounts.
- Client Communication & Relationship Building:
- Address customer questions and account concerns with professionalism and care.
- Identify potential service needs and refer business opportunities to the sales team when appropriate.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
- Education & Experience:
- High school diploma (required); college diploma (preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in a customer service, retail, or sales support role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication tools.
- Ability to navigate internal systems and handle payment processing.
- Key Competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks under pressure.
- Tactful, professional, and solution-oriented approach to customer interactions.
