Alpha Construction Inc. is currently looking to hire a local Skilled Labourer for a water infrastructure construction project in Cold Lake First Nations.
The ideal candidate will be able to follow direction, work independently and as a team. You will be expected to maintain a clean job site by following all safety regulations and following company policies and procedures.
Skills and Responsibilities:
- General construction knowledge
- Able to operate mobile equipment
- Able to work in an outside environment
- Ability to lift up to 23kg (50lbs)
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to use a tape measure
- Able to work independently and within a team environment
- Must be physically fit and able to do manual labour
- Reliable with a good attendance record
- Able to work overtime
- Proficient English language skills
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
- Must be self-motivated with a willingness and desire to learn job-specific skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy including the ability to follow detailed instruction
- Perform manual tasks including the use of hand power tools and equipment
Requirements:
Experience:
- Industrial/Commercial Construction: 2+ years
- Operating: 1 year (Preferred)
