About the Role
We're looking for a Skilled Concrete Laborer to join our crew for commercial and residential concrete projects. You'll work hands-on with forming, pouring, finishing, and curing concrete, helping deliver quality work safely and on schedule. This role suits someone with solid field experience who takes pride in craftsmanship and can work well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Set, level, and brace concrete forms according to plans and specifications
- Mix, pour, spread, and level concrete using hand tools and power equipment
- Finish surfaces with trowels, floats, and edgers to achieve required texture and grade
- Read blueprints and grade stakes to ensure accurate depth, slope, and alignment
- Install rebar, wire mesh, and other reinforcement materials
- Operate and maintain tools such as concrete saws, vibrators, and power trowels
- Perform site prep, including excavation, grading, and cleanup
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free job site
- Collaborate with foremen and crew members to keep projects on schedule
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in concrete work or a related construction trade
- Working knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and curing methods
- Ability to read basic blueprints, grade stakes, and measurements
- Comfortable operating hand and power tools common to concrete work
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in varying weather
- Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record
- Valid driver's license preferred; OSHA 10 certification a plus
