Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate and program CNC machines, including CNC lathes and milling machines, to produce precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and quality control. The CNC Machinist will work with advanced tools and equipment such as Fanuc controls, CAD software, to ensure high-quality production standards are met. Candidates should possess mechanical knowledge and experience in manufacturing environments, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery including CNC lathe and milling machines and 7 axis Swiss machines
- Program CNC machines using CAM software and Fanuc controls
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics for accurate machining
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precision
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
- Assist with assembly, packaging, or warehouse tasks as needed
- Collaborate with team members on process improvements and production efficiency
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes and CNC milling machines
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and CNC programming
- Knowledge of CAM software like Mastercam for part design and programming
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and apply mechanical knowledge effectively
- Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, height stands, gauges and shadow graphs to perform quality checks
Pay: $25.00-$37.00 per hour
