Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to food preparation, team supervision, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth kitchen operations, managing staff, and upholding the restaurant’s reputation for excellence.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Monitor daily restaurant operations to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Lead team meetings, facilitate staff training sessions, and promote a positive work environment
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to enhance guest experience
- Assist in interviewing and onboarding new team members
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential
- Excellent team management, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform cash handling duties
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures
- Previous hotel or barista experience is considered a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
