Altera Health has partnered with a well-established and growing diagnostic imaging organization to recruit an Ultrasound Technologist (General Sonographer) for multiple outpatient imaging clinics in the London region.

What You'll Do
You'll perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations while providing exceptional patient care in a busy outpatient imaging environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform high-quality general ultrasound examinations
- Conduct abdominal, pelvic, thyroid, breast, soft tissue and musculoskeletal imaging
- Verify patient history and imaging requisitions
- Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout examinations
- Assess image quality and obtain all required diagnostic views
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation
- Follow CMRITO standards, infection prevention protocols and quality assurance procedures
- Perform routine equipment quality checks
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians and clinic staff to deliver outstanding patient care
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Current registration in good standing with CMRITO
- Current CPR Certification
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient clinic
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional, compassionate and team-oriented attitude
Asset Qualifications
Experience performing any of the following is considered an asset:
- Vascular Ultrasound
- Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSK)
- Obstetrical Ultrasound
- Breast Imaging

- Day and evening shifts
- Clinic hours between 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Weekend availability may be required on a rotational basis
