Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Transportation Safety Manager for a full-time, direct hire opportunity in Simcoe County, Ontario. This on-site leadership role is ideal for a safety-focused transportation professional with strong trucking compliance experience across Ontario and cross-border U.S. operations.
The Transportation Safety Manager will lead fleet safety programs, regulatory compliance, driver onboarding, audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives for a commercial trucking operation. This is a high-impact role with visibility to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape safety standards across a growing transportation environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead safety and compliance programs for a commercial trucking fleet operating in Ontario and cross-border into the U.S.
- Ensure compliance with MTO, CVOR, NSC, FMCSA, DOT, Hours of Service, ELD, and driver file requirements.
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, SOPs, driver training, onboarding, and ongoing education programs.
- Conduct internal audits, prepare for external inspections, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor fleet safety metrics, manage CVOR performance, support insurance claims, and lead root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with operations, dispatch, maintenance, regulatory bodies, and industry partners to support safe and compliant fleet operations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 per year.
- Job Type: Direct hire, full-time.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Work Arrangement: 100% on-site.
