The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of transport trailers to ensure they meet all safety and operation standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on transport trailers.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in trailers.
- Conduct brake, suspension, and wheel alignments.
- Repair and replace trailer components such as axles, bearings, and lights.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in truck & transport technology.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Licensed Transport Trailer Technician.
- Proven experience as a Transport Trailer Technician an asset.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good manual dexterity and able to perform intermittent heavy lifting.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driver’s abstract.
