Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bread Baker to join our bakery team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, rolls, and other baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all baked items meet presentation and taste expectations
- Operate baking equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workspace
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to guarantee optimal results
- Package baked goods for retail display or wholesale distribution, maintaining proper food handling procedures
- Assist with inventory management, including ingredient stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Maintain adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service when interacting with customers or during special events
Experience
- Previous experience in baking or pastry arts is preferred, especially in a bakery or restaurant setting
- Skills in cake decorating, food preparation, cooking, and food handling are advantageous
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in baking and food safety practices is essential
- Experience working within the food industry with a focus on quality control and customer service is desirable
- Knowledge of packaging techniques for baked goods to preserve freshness and presentation
