Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a <PERSON> working during the early morning hours of 3AM to 4AM. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for food preparation, baking, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced food industry environment. The role involves supporting bakery or kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and preparing high-quality products for our customers. Prior experience in restaurant settings, cake decorating, or food handling is highly valued. This is a paid position suitable for individuals seeking early morning work with opportunities for skill development.
Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking tasks, including baking and assembling baked goods
- Decorate cakes and desserts according to specifications and customer preferences
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation protocols
- Package baked items efficiently for sale or delivery
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces
- Support the team in ensuring timely production of products to meet daily demands
- Follow all food safety regulations and company policies during food handling and preparation
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Skills
- Experience in cake decorating, baking, or food preparation preferred
- Background in restaurant or kitchen environments is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with team members or customers
- Ability to work efficiently during early morning hours with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with packaging techniques for baked goods or food items
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail in all tasks performed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks accurately
