Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler IJob Description
This role focuses on assembling and mounting electrical and mechanical components, performing basic wiring, and supporting sub-assembly production in a structured manufacturing environment. You will follow standard layouts, customer drawing packages, and schematics to build high-quality products while developing enhanced wiring skills under the guidance of more experienced electrical assemblers.
Responsibilities-
Assemble and mount electrical, mechanical, and sub-assembly components onto panels, enclosures, and structures by following standard layouts and instructions.

Wire electrical products with basic and standard options by accurately following customer drawing packages and electrical schematics.

Assist in wiring electrical products with non-standard options under the direction and supervision of a more experienced electrical assembler.

Check product functionality by performing continuity checks, such as buzzing out circuits, to verify correct wiring and connections.

Complete all required checklists and documentation to ensure quality standards and process compliance.

Assemble enclosures and structures as required to support overall product build and integration.

Deliver completed sub-assemblies to designated production areas in a timely and organized manner.

Support inventory maintenance in the sub-assembly area by performing cycle counts and following standard materials procedures.

Access and use information through the CSSM or similar systems to support materials control and production activities.

Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and correctly during assembly and wiring tasks.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate mechanical and electrical assembly.

Collaborate with team members and more experienced assemblers to continuously improve wiring skills and assembly techniques.
Essential Skills-
Mechanical or electrical assembly experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, customer drawing packages, and electrical schematics.

Experience with mechanical assembly using hand tools and power tools.

Experience with electrical assembly and basic wiring of components.

Ability to perform continuity checks (buzzing out) to verify electrical functionality.

Mechanically inclined with strong hands-on problem-solving abilities.

Capability to follow standard layouts, procedures, and work instructions accurately.

Basic understanding of inventory processes, including cycle counts and standard materials procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications-
Knowledge or experience with basic wiring schematic symbols is an asset.

Familiarity with pneumatics is an advantage.

Comfort using computer or system tools such as CSSM or similar platforms to access materials and production information.

Experience working in a structured production environment with defined processes and quality checks.

Work Environment
This position is based in a production and assembly environment with a focus on electromechanical products. You will work primarily with electrical and mechanical components, enclosures, and structures, using hand tools, power tools, and equipment to complete assemblies and wiring. The role involves reading blueprints and schematics, performing continuity checks, and supporting inventory control through systems such as CSSM. The schedule follows a weekday daytime shift, typically Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing predictable hours in a unionized setting with established procedures and standards.
