Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Stone Countertop Installer to join our team. This role involves the precise installation of natural and engineered stone countertops in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction-related tasks, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a variety of hand tools and techniques to deliver high-quality results.
Duties
- Measure, cut, and shape stone materials using hand tools and power equipment to specifications.
- Install countertops accurately according to blueprints, schematics, and client requirements.
- Use caulking techniques to ensure seamless finishes and proper sealing of installed surfaces.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for precise installation.
- Prepare surfaces by performing restoration work or construction painting as needed before installation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety standards are maintained throughout the project.
- Assist with other related tasks such as plumbing connections, or carpentry work when necessary.
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly care for tools and equipment.
Experience
- Valid Drivers License to drive a 16' truck.
- Familiarity with hand tools, schematics, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation.
- Experience with caulking, restoration work, or plumbing is a plus.
- Prior experience working with stone materials or countertop installation is mandatory.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions is essential. Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
