Borrelli Crafters is seeking a motivated Carpenter Apprentice who wants to build a long-term career in residential construction and renovations. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up ready to learn, and is committed to developing their skills under experienced tradespeople.
This is not a position where you'll spend your days sweeping floors and carrying materials. You'll receive hands-on training in all aspects of residential construction, from framing and finish carpentry to concrete work, renovations, and project execution. Our goal is to help you become a highly skilled carpenter with opportunities for growth within the company.
What You'll Learn
- Framing and structural carpentry
- Interior and exterior finishing
- Blueprint and construction drawing interpretation
- Concrete forming and foundation work
- Decks, fences, and outdoor structures
- Cabinet and trim installation
- Flooring installation
- Roofing and siding
- Construction layout and site preparation
- Material estimating and project planning
- Safe operation of professional-grade tools and equipment
Responsibilities
- Assist lead carpenters and skilled tradespeople on active construction projects
- Perform carpentry and general construction tasks under supervision
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards
- Learn new construction techniques and apply them on site
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
What We're Looking For
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and work independently when required
- Basic experience with hand tools and power tools is an asset
- Previous construction experience is an asset but not required
