About Aqua Essence Swim Academy:
Aqua Essence Swim Academy is a leading swimming school focused on helping students of all ages – from infants to seniors – feel comfortable, strong, and competent in the water. Since its launch in 2002, Aqua Essence has trained thousands of swimmers in Manitoba.
Aqua Essence's 90+ teachers are guided by our "Ready, Set, Swim!™", the Academy's proprietary curriculum. The program is designed to ensure that all teachers employ best practice with their students. The program ensures consistency, continuity, rigour, and fun. “Ready, Set, Swim! ™" provides a common language for students and instructors – a common language, with uncommon results.
About Our Lessons:
Aqua Essence delivers swimming and water safety programs with a sharp focus on the swimmer as an individual. Our teaching methods generate a cycle of success and remarkable confidence in the pool.
The Academy offers a variety of program options in swimming, lifesaving, first aid, triathlon training and more.
We are currently hiring swim instructors who are able to train and learn our programming during the summer time in order to join our team in our upcoming Fall/Winter Session.
Qualifications:
All applicants are required to have the following certifications:
- Bronze Cross or National Lifeguarding certifications
- Swim for Life Instructor
- CPR Level C and Standard First Aid
- Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
- Ideal candidates are able to train during the summer and have PT or FT in the upcoming Fall/Winter Session, preference will be given to those with the most open availability
