Seasonal Maintenance Person – Seasonal Sauble Campground
Location: North Sauble Beach
Term: August – End of October (seasonal, temporary)
Type: Full-time, M-F, 8-5
About the Role
We are an estgablished seasonal campground looking for a reliable, hands-on maintenance person to help keep our grounds and facilities in top shape through the remainder of our season. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys varied outdoor work and can handle a mix of physical labor and practical repairs.
Responsibilities
- Cut and maintain grass and grounds throughout the property
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs
- Assist with upkeep of trailers and campsite infrastructure
- Handle basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff
- Keep common areas, washrooms, and facilities clean and in good working order
- Perform seasonal wind-down tasks as the campground closes for the year
Qualifications
- Experience with general maintenance, groundskeeping, or a trades background
- Working knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing systems
- Experience with trailers/RVs an asset
- Comfortable using landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.) and light machinery (tractor, skid steer, small ex)
- Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
Details
- Wage: depending on experience, $18-$25/hour
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5
