Job Summary
- Position Title: Sewing Machine Mechanic
- Environment: Manufacturing Facility (Unionized)
- Location: Toronto
- Shifts: 8 Hours
- Days: Monday to Friday (some Saturdays as needed)
- Rate of Pay: $ 25.70/hour to start then $27.70/hour after as per contract
- Type: Full-Time evening shift
Responsibilities
- Repairing sewing Machines and Other manufacturing machines on sight
- Preforming preventive maintenance on all machines weekly
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Minimum 6 months related experience
- Experience working in busy setting warehouse
- Excellent attention to detail, hand-eye coordination
- Physically fit and able to assemble and move Machines
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance is a must
- Average level of English communication skills and computer skills
- Able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- High attention to cleanliness of machines and working station
- Strong team player
